Hotel PUR, Quebec, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Nice regular hotel, loved the staff, the location is decent enough for me. The hotel food was good as well. If I'm ever back in Quebec this is where I'm booking again.

Hotel was in a great location and the fact that they allowed pets was a bonus for us. The service was exceptional as well as their restaurant. We had breakfast there 2 mornings and Bernard, our waiter, gave us excellent service and was very personable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great room, good location that is really close to a bus stop. The doormen were extremely helpful and friendly. I received support from two different doorman and both of them helped me tremendously. The pool table in the lobby is a cool touch for a pool lover like myself.

Great location; within walking distance to Vieux Quebec city (approximately 30 minutes). Close to restaurants and bakery ( 1 minute). Area appears to be a bit run down; noticed many homeless sleep overnight in church grounds next to hotel however not noisy or bothersome and felt very safe outside walking. Room rate better booked directly with hotel than other sites and also got a free upgrade. Rooms modern and minimalist; had all the basics and was very clean. Used indoor parking; ample room below building…a bit pricey but again located downtown. Had the buffet breakfast in morning; excellent choices, very fresh food and countless options (bakery, cold cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, limitless coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, pancakes, etc.). Staff service was excellent; Merci Bernard! I had mentioned upon check in that we were visiting to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary and later in the day we received a lovely note, box of chocolate and some drinks delivered to our room. Very class act which was unexpected but delightful. I would strongly recommend this hotel for its location, value and superior hospitality.

The biggest downside was the shower. The shower head had very weak water pressure and was quite small, which made it difficult to properly rinse off. Additionally, housekeeping did not seem to consistently respect the door sign, which was frustrating. With a few improvements—especially to the showers—this would be a much stronger stay overall.

I had an exceptional stay at Hôtel PUR in Québec City. From the moment I pulled up, the service was phenomenal. Jacques greeted me right away, helped with the car, and was incredibly attentive every time I came and went. His professionalism and warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. The room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with an amazing view over the city. Unfortunately, the visibility wasn’t great during my stay due to the weather — but even then, you could tell how stunning the view must be on a clear day. Although I didn’t get a chance to try the hotel’s restaurant, it definitely had a great vibe, especially with the stylish bar area. The hotel’s location is another strong point: surrounded by restaurants and bars within walking distance, and even the Uber rides to other areas were quick and easy. Whether for business or pleasure, Hôtel PUR delivers on comfort, convenience, and service. I’ll definitely be booking here again soon.

Great location and terrific staff. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of a remodelling. The area is full of great restaurants but has some uncomfortable homeless issues.

We had a great experience staying at PUR. Jimmy, the manager and the whole staff were extremely accommodating and treated us with the best customer service and hospitality. This was our first trip with our 1 year old and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. This hotel made our first time visiting Quebec magical. Thank you all! We will be back!
